  • Demonstrable ability to meet the Trusts Values
  • UK Masters degree level or equivalent
  • Leadership training.
  • Current Registration with Health and Care Professions Council without restriction.
  • *Requires level 2/3 (Practitioner) smoking cessation competencies plus mental health module (*and or work towards in the first 3-6months)
  • Proven experience of development, implementation/ delivery, and data recording of clinical pathways, following NHSE guidelines.
  • Strategically linking with the Smokefree strategy, the QI QUITT Collaboration and other related projects and initiatives across Coventry and Warwickshire.
  • Adaptable teaching skills in relation to patients, carers and colleagues
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate team building, leadership and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of clinical and management supervision skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance.
  • Ability to locate up to date research, evidence and governance relevant to clinical area and integrate into practice.
  • Knowledge and ability to use Quality Improvement methodology and approach
  • Ability to lead and inspire others.
  • Experience of adopting quality improvement approaches to support implementation and ensure robust metrics are in place to measure impact.
  • Experience of leading on data recording and reporting and analysis of progress against performance targets i.e. trajectories, highlight reports, qualitive case studies
  • Experience of reporting to governance routes for internal and system assurance and escalation of progress and risks.
  • Evidence of effective caseload management.
  • Experience of supervising registered and/or non-registered staff (including students)
  • Experience of involvement in service evaluation and audit.
