Job description
This post is an opportunity to join a busy and thriving clinical trials unit that designs and conducts high quality national and international multicentre trials across a range of health topics, collaborating with clinicians and academics within the University and NHS trusts.
The unit is seeking to recruit two Trial Coordinators to work within our multidisciplinary team and support the successful delivery of our trials. The successful candidates will work on one or more projects working closely with the Trial Manager or Senior Trial Manager throughout all aspects of trial set-up, recruitment, close-out, analysis and reporting. This will include working closely with the Chief Investigator, liaising with and training site staff, working with the relevant research networks, and performing site monitoring visits as well as maintaining study progress documentation.
Candidates should have an understanding of UK clinical research and be an expert in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, whilst proficient in other Microsoft packages. They should have good written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus and be able to demonstrate planning and organisational skills.

In addition, we conduct methodological work to improve the efficiency and quality of trial design, conduct, analysis and reporting. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week). However, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours.

These posts are offered on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. Job share arrangements may also be considered.
