Job description
New City College is looking for a dynamic and driven individual to play a vital role in supporting our students to gain valuable experience in the workplace supporting the Digital and IT Curriculum area.
Employer engagement is key to the success of this role. You will build, develop, and maintain relationships with local, regional, and national organisations to provide employer engagement opportunities for our students, through developing existing relationships, cold calling, and networking opportunities.
- Building and maintaining relationships with employers to secure work experience placements for students.
- Coordinating and managing the work experience program, ensuring all placements meet the required standards.
- Supporting students throughout their work experience, providing guidance and resolving any issues that arise.
- Collaborating with academic staff to integrate work experience into the curriculum.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the work experience program and making improvements as needed.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about education and student development, with excellent communication and networking skills. You should be proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in a similar role or environment is desirable.
