Job description
What will you be doing?
We are looking to recruit to the post of Billing & Control Officer, in the Billing and Control Team within the Financial Assessment and Income Unit (FA&I). This post is offered as a permanent position and is full time (37 hours per week). The Billing & Control Team are based at St Peters House in Broadstairs. The Authority currently supports hybrid working, however, office attendance is required at least once a week after an initial three month in person training period.
Working within a team responsible for the invoicing of income due to the authority you will play a vital role in providing high quality advice and accurate information to both internal and external stakeholders and customers. As the first point of contact in relation to the receipt of an invoice you will be responsible for quickly building rapport with people we support whilst assisting with a wide range of in-depth queries in a professional, diplomatic and supportive manner. You will support the administration of IT systems, to provide technical support and advice.
You will be provided with a comprehensive training program so that you are able to deliver the requirements of this role.
