Job description

Caretaker

(Cleadon Church of England Academy)

Grade 9-12

Date: July 2026

Start date:- As soon as possible

Post: 37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Times: 6am – 9:30am & 2pm – 6pm

The Academy Council are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and dedicated Caretaker to take up a permanent position within the Academy. The successful candidate will work with the Headteacher and Office Manager to manage the school site to ensure a warm, safe, clean and secure environment in which children and staff can work effectively. They will be able to demonstrate high standards of practice, good inter-personal skills and be supportive of the Academy’s Christian ethos.
