South Tyneside Educational Psychology Service is expanding its workforce to support the continued development of inclusive SEND practice and future national reforms. We are looking for enthusiastic, committed and innovative colleagues to join our highly regarded team.

The Service is highly regarded by schools, families and partner agencies, as reflected in the consistently excellent feedback we receive. We maintain strong working relationships with schools, other professionals and the Local Authority. There are opportunities to engage in a wide variety of work, including consultation, assessment, training, therapeutic interventions, systemic practice and research, using a variety of psychological approaches, tools and methods.

We are seeking educational psychologists who are committed to working as part of a multidisciplinary team. We would welcome candidates who can bring specialist interests, knowledge or expertise to enhance and further develop our service offer. We value innovation and are always keen to explore new ways of working with schools and partners. We offer opportunities for progression to Senior Practitioner Educational Psychologist roles enabling colleagues to develop areas of specialist practice. We are committed to offering opportunities for continuing professional development.

Trainee Educational Psychologists currently completing their doctoral training are welcome to apply.
