• The role involves working in the Social Care Benefits Team within the broader Business Support Section.
• Responsibilities include gathering financial information from individuals to determine eligibility for help with the cost of their care.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work at a fast pace are essential, as the role involves assessment calculations, invoicing, and reconciling information.
• Proficiency in working with various IT systems is required.
• The role includes contributing to the development of the service to promote independence through self-assessment tools.
• Strong communication skills are necessary, as the position involves regular liaison with clients, families, care providers, and colleagues from different teams.
