Job description
We are looking for a driven, self-motivated engineer to work within our Flood Risk Management team. You will fulfil our statutory role as consultee to the Local Planning Authority for drainage and flood risk on major planning applications. We are currently updating our Local Plan and have ambitious plans for sustainable growth, which you would be a key player in realising.
We would expect candidates to have experience of working in Lead Local Flood Authorities and have excellent knowledge of drainage and flood risk concepts, design, standards and strategies. Knowledge of the planning system would also be a pre-requisite for this role.
