Job description

Are you ready to help a person with their therapy needs so they can stay independent at home? If the answer is yes, this is the job for you!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Therapy Assistant to join our expanding and developing therapy service in the Bexhill, Hastings and Rother area. With a focus on delivering high standards of care and rehabilitate individuals, you will be responsible for implementing and recording assessments, liaising with other professionals, demonstrate how to use the equipment or follow an exercise programme, order and prescribe required equipment and keep accurate records on databases.

As part of the JCR Team, you will work as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Support Workers.

Joint Community Rehabilitation Service (JCR) is an integrated countywide domiciliary service. It is delivered by Adult Social Care (ASC) and East Sussex Healthcare Trust (ESHT). The JCR team were Highly Commended at the Great British Care Awards.
