Job description

Working within the Council’s service groups, this varied role will provide administrative support to the PA team.  This is a fixed term role for 12 months.

You will have approximately two years’ experience in an administrative or secretarial role and be an excellent communicator, as this post involves engaging with a range of people by email, telephone and in person. You will also be able to demonstrate experience of managing multiple diaries, as the role supports the busy schedules of senior managers within the Council.

The successful candidate will have strong literacy and numeracy skills, previous experience of handling confidential and sensitive information, and confidence using a range of Microsoft Office packages.
