Park Primary School is seeking to appoint a permanent Premises Manager to lead the site team.
We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic, conscientious, proactive and self-motivated, who would like a key role in maintaining and developing our flagship school, to ensure a welcoming, safe and modern environment for the whole school community.
This is an all year round working contract. Annual leave is to be taken outside of term time. The hours of work are as follows:
Term time (split shifts) - Monday to Friday 7:00-11:00am AND 3:00-6:00pm
School holidays - Monday to Friday 08:30-4:00pm (to include 30 minute unpaid lunch break)

Working closely with the Business Manager, the duties will include:
- Site Security & Keyholding: Act as the primary designated keyholder, ensuring the premises are fully secured and responding to out-of-hours emergency call-outs.
- Facilities & Grounds Maintenance: Lead the implementation of the annual maintenance plan, carrying out hands-on minor repairs, rolling redecoration, and routine groundskeeping.
- Health, Safety & Statutory Compliance: Conduct regular safety inspections, manage risk assessments, in line with compliance and COSHH regulations.
- Cleaning & Staff Supervision: Line manage and direct cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of hygiene, proper chemical usage, and safe working routines across all school facilities.
- Contractor & Digital Operations: Supervise external contractors on site, manage procurement of site supplies, and use ICT tools (including email, online calendars, and digital reporting systems) to manage daily tasks and maintain accurate records.
