Job DescriptionPost Title: Primary Teacher - Supply - Various Areas within Highland CouncilSalary: £33,594 - £50,589 pro rata Teachers who register for supply teaching can be asked to undertake supply teaching at both short and advance notice in their local areas, and periods of supply can vary from one day to several weeks or months depending on the kind of absence to be covered. Even if teachers can only make themselves available for one day a week, or at certain times of the year, the Highland Council would like to hear from them. This may be of particular interest to teachers who are currently not working, and who have perhaps not worked for some years. If necessary, training will be provided locally for any teachers who feel that they would benefit from this. Applications are welcome from all teachers, including any teachers currently living outside Highland but who may be available to work in Highland schools.
