We provide person-centred, innovative services that improve the lives of the people we serve. Our mission is to ensure customers receive the care and support they need to live happy, healthy and successful lives.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Quality Assurance Department, which plays a key role in supporting continuous improvement, compliance and organisational performance across Sunderland Care and Support.
The Quality and Performance Manager will support the delivery of the organisation’s quality assurance and performance functions, ensuring that performance information, intelligence and analysis are used effectively to support service delivery, improvement and decision-making. The role is responsible for performance monitoring and reporting, data analysis, benchmarking, organisational research and needs analysis, providing assurance that services are meeting regulatory requirements and organisational priorities.
Working closely with managers and senior leaders across the organisation, you will analyse and interpret performance information, identify trends and emerging issues, and produce meaningful reports for a range of audiences. You will support the development and implementation of quality assurance initiatives, contribute to organisational strategy, oversee regulatory and registration requirements, and help ensure that policies, procedures and working practices remain compliant, effective and fit for purpose.
The successful candidate will lead and develop a team responsible for maintaining records, monitoring and reporting on data, and supporting the wider governance structure of Sunderland Care and Support. You will also play a key role in supporting internal and external audits, driving service improvement, and providing advice and guidance to managers on performance, quality and compliance matters.

You will be confident working with complex data and information, have excellent communication skills, and be able to present performance information clearly and effectively to a range of stakeholders.
