This post is fixed term / secondment until 16/06/2027 due to maternity cover

This is an exciting opportunity to join our People Services team as aBand 3 Administrator, based atYsbyty Gwynedd, providing essential support to both ourRecruitment and HR teams.

As a key member of the team, you will be at the heart of our People Services function, acting as a first point of contact for employees, managers, candidates and members of the public. This role offers valuable exposure to both Recruitment and HR, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within these professional areas.

No two days are the same. Working in a busy and fast-paced environment, you'll provide a range of administrative support services that help ensure the smooth delivery of Recruitment and HR processes across the organisation.

You will be part of a supportive, friendly and engaged team that values collaboration, learning and excellent customer service. Our work brings us into contact with a wide variety of people and situations every day, and we take pride in delivering a professional and responsive service to our customers.

  • Providing administrative support to Recruitment and HR teams
  • Acting as a first point of contact for enquiries via telephone, email and in person
  • Maintaining accurate employee and recruitment records
  • Supporting recruitment processes and onboarding activities
  • Assisting with correspondence, meetings and documentation
  • Managing and prioritising workloads to meet deadlines
  • Delivering excellent customer service

We're looking for an organised and motivated individual who enjoys working with people and providing high-quality administrative support

  • Previous administrative experience in a busy office environment
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
  • Confidence in handling enquiries by phone, email and face-to-face
  • A positive and customer-focused approach
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • NVQ 3 or equivalent
  • NVQ 2 in administration or Customer Service
  • ECDL
  • Experience of working in an administrative role
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Office Word; Excel

  • Recruitment experience preferably within a Human Resources of Medical Workforce environment
  • Willingness to work flexibly to meet the demands of the service
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Be accurate and with an attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Able to convey written and verbal messages in a accurate and timely manner
  • Ability to work with and develop effective partnerships with all key stakeholders.
