Join our team at East Suffolk Services Limited and help keep our communities clean and safe!

At East Suffolk Services, we proudly deliver a wide range of essential local services that support the lives of over a quarter of a million residents and thousands of businesses across our district.

We’re a new, growing organisation—full of energy, ambition, and purpose. As part of our team, you’ll play an important role in helping us shape high-quality, efficient services that people rely on every single day.

This is more than just a job. This is a fantastic opportunity to support, and give back to, your local community.

We currently have opportunities to join our Waste and Recycling team as a Refuse HGV Driver/Loader.

You’ll be responsible for driving HGV Refuse Collection Vehicles and loading refuse, recycling, garden, food waste, and sacks onto the lorry—always prioritising health, safety, and excellent customer care. This role is essential in keeping our streets clean and tidy.

As the Driver for your round, you’ll also act as chargehand, taking accountability for the vehicle and crew each day. In addition, you’ll assist with in-cab technology, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all information related to your route.

You will need to hold a full UK Driver’s License, an LGV Class 2 Category C licence and a valid driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).

If you’re reliable, enjoy working as part of a team, have a keen awareness of health and safety and don’t mind physical work in all weather conditions, we’d love to hear from you.
