ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

As a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, your primary role will be to support and collaborate with the Care team in delivering high-quality personal care. You will ensure a safe, caring, innovative, and inclusive environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Key responsibilities include monitoring residents' wellbeing, involvement in person-centred care planning, supporting residents with medication, undertaking staff supervisions, and acting as a key contact for residents, relatives, and health professionals. The position requires living by the values of being caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable. The ideal candidate must have NVQ 3 or equivalent, two years of similar care experience, effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and flexibility.

• Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
• Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
• Acting as a key point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon, and concerns or complaints are escalated.
