One year fixed term contract - maternity cover
Full time, 37 hours per week

We are looking for a positive, proactive, dynamic and creative Senior Communications Officer to lead on our internal and digital communications
Our workforce is our biggest asset, and we must invest in communicating and engaging with them. You will take the lead on coordinating, and creating, our internal communication content and activity across the Council. Alongside this, you’ll also be responsible for overseeing our digital communication channels, our 8 websites, 20 social media channels, e-newsletters and more, looking to drive forward an innovative and ambitious agenda. You’ll be project managing the move of our websites onto a new content management system as well as auditing the success of our social media output, always striving to improve the service we offer! Alongside this, you’ll be working on our busy press service too. With a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities, no two days are alike, and that's exactly what makes this role so enjoyable.
