Social Worker

• Has experience working with adults who have experienced homelessness, multiple disadvantage or complex social needs
• Holds a recognised Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England
• Can confidently undertake safeguarding enquiries, risk assessments and support planning
• Is professionally resilient and able to make sound decisions in challenging situations
• Builds positive relationships and works effectively with partner agencies
• Is passionate about strengths-based practice and helping people achieve positive, sustainable change

What you'll be doing

• As a Social Worker, you will manage a varied and rewarding caseload, providing high-quality statutory social work support to adults with complex needs. Your work will include:
• Undertaking strengths-based assessments and applying professional judgement to complex situations
• Developing and reviewing outcome-focused care and support plans
• Leading or contributing to safeguarding enquiries and protection planning
• Assessing and managing risk while promoting people's rights, choice and independence
• Working collaboratively with housing, health, voluntary and community sector partners
• Supporting individuals through significant life transitions and periods of crisis
