Street Cleansing Operative
Environmental Services
37 hours per week, permanent
Working Saturday to Wednesday with occasional weekend busy times and events
Salary: NS5 £25,989 - £26,403 per annum

We are looking for a Street Cleansing Operative to join our team making the district a cleaner, safer and greener place to live, work and visit.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to support the Street Scene team in their work keeping the Newark and Sherwood district clean and litter free all through the week and at some of the busiest times of day.
Working as a Street Cleansing Operative, you will provide a high-quality and high performing street cleansing service.
You will need to possess a full driving licence.

- Cleansing of street furniture
- Public bin and dog waste collections
- Graffiti removal
- Playground checks
- Fly tip removal
- Watering
- Litter picking
- Various safety checks
- Installing Street furniture
- Gritting
- Flood response
- Chewing Gum removal
- Driving varied vehicles
