What’s the role?

The Systemic Practitioner plays a vital role in delivering high‑quality, relational interventions to children, young people, and families within the Integrated Adolescent Service. You will use systemic, trauma‑informed, anti‑racist, restorative, and contextual approaches to support meaningful change, improve emotional wellbeing, and promote safety. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute systemic thinking to assessments, planning, and interventions, participate in reflective practice, and help shape the development of a learning‑oriented, innovative service. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about collaborative practice, committed to inclusive and strengths‑based work, and eager to make a positive impact in the lives of adolescents and their families.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a reflective, relational practitioner who is passionate about working systemically with adolescents and their families. You’ll bring a strong grounding in systemic theory, along with the ability to apply trauma‑informed, anti‑racist, restorative and contextual approaches in day‑to‑day practice. You will be skilled at building trusting relationships, curious in your thinking, and confident using systemic tools such as genograms and relational formulations to support meaningful change. We’re seeking someone who can work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contribute to reflective spaces, and actively champion inclusive, culturally responsive practice. If you’re emotionally intelligent, resilient, and motivated to help strengthen safety, wellbeing, and relational outcomes for young people, then you’ll thrive in this role.

Location

The job is primarily based in The Old Town Hall, Catford, London, SE6 4RU, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Salary

£44,235 - £45,852 per annum (PO1)

N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
