Blackpool Youth Justice Service are recruiting to a 12 month Youth Justice Officer post.
This is an exciting opportunity for a experienced Youth Justice Officer to lead on prevention, diversion and knife possession offences following the introduction of the National Knife Crime Guidance in April 2026. This innovative role will provide an immediate and consistent response to all new knife possession notifications, offering assessment, intervention and support from the point of notification. This will ensure children receive timely support at the earliest opportunity, reducing risk, preventing escalation and improving outcomes.
Furthermore the post holder will work closely with the deputy manager leading on Blackpool's Prevention, Partnership Panel.
