Job description

The Trustees at Victorious Academies Trust would like to appoint a After School Club Supervisor at Adswood Priamary School, Garners Lane, Adswood, Stockport, SK3 8PQ

  • The Out of Hours Club leader will:
  • Lead A Small Team Of Committed Staff
  • Work With Enthusiastic And Engaging Children
  • Provide play and learning opportunities for children aged 3 11 years, after school
  • Liaise with school staff, parents and governors
  • Complete all necessary administration related to this post
  • You will need to be confident and supportive with strong behaviour management and excellent nurturing skills.

The successful candidate must have NVQ Level 3 in Play work / Childcare and an understanding of OFSTED requirements; have previous experience of working in a childcare setting and excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

This role is a part time contract at 15 hours per week / 44.6weeks Term Time Only with an actual pro-rata annual salary of £9,155.49 , Grade D Point 7

An enthusiastic and self-motivated supervisor to provide a safe, engaging and inclusive environment for our Out of Hour’s Club. The current breakfast club is very well attended and vital for our working parents, and we would like to extend this provision at the end of the school day. This position will be on a one year contract initially to evaluate the viability of this provision, but we anticipate that this vital service will continue to thrive.
