New OBR Chair

The Chancellor has announced Professor Jonathan Haskel as the preferred candidate for the Chair of the Office for Budget Responsibility. Professor Haskel is a CBE and has been nominated for the role. The Office for Budget Responsibility is responsible for providing independent analysis of the UK's public finances. This nomination is a key appointment for the public sector.
